‘Queued Up’ with Yella Beezy
Share

Dallas rapper and performer, Yella Beezy (born Deandre Conway) started writing his own lyrics at the age of nine and released his first mixtape at 14. Don’t let his Southern drawl fool you – this guy is not only street smart, but has his business savvy in check too.

Best known for his tracks “That’s On Me,” “Bacc at it Again” featuring Quavo and Gucci Mane, and “Restroom Occupied” featuring Chris Brown, Yella Beezy has racked up millions of streams on Spotify. After being invited to open for Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s On the Run II back in September of 2018, his success began to grow rapidly, resulting in him signing a deal with L.A. Reid’s Hitco Entertainment.

We recently had the privilege of welcoming Yella Beezy into the BPM Supreme office for a private listening session of his newest album, Baccend Beezy. While he was here, the young rapper answered a few of our favorite questions for the latest episode of the interview series, “Queued Up.”

In this episode, Yella Beezy tells us his favorite dad joke, touches on the time he was shot, shows us his signature dance move, and more. Check out the full video above and find more of Yella Beezy’s music on BPM Supreme.
